Jessica is a proud University of Florida graduate, earning her B.A. in 2021, a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Leadership, and will complete her Master’s in 2025.  Jessica currently works as the senior paralegal at the G Law Group, where she has also served as a community liaison, social media manager, and website developer. She brings extensive nonprofit experience through the Gainesville Fine Arts Association, Mothers Fighting for Justice, and HOPE for Miami. As a student, Jessica was in the top 5% of her class, Student Council President, an active member of Model UN, DECA, NHS, and iPrep Ambassadors, and a member of the Varsity Cross Country Team.

Miriam is a proud Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High School alumna, educator, coach, and accomplished volleyball player who has dedicated her career to serving students and her community.

A standout HML Trojan, Miriam went on to play volleyball at the University of Central Florida from 1991–1994, where she helped lead the Knights to three consecutive conference championships and their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.  In 2025, she was inducted into the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame.

Miriam also continued her impact in collegiate athletics as a coach before returning to her alma mater, where she teaches and until recently, coached volleyball.

Karina is a mental health coordinator for MDCPS at three different school locations. She has a BSW and MSW from Florida International University. She is working to complete her license in social work. Karina is a second generation HML alum and was in the top 15% of her class. She was Student Council President, a member on the EESAC committee, an active member of Model UN, iPrep Ambassadors, Drama Club, Trojan Stars, NHS, and a member of the Varsity Cheerleading squad.

Noelys is a Paralegal at Gunter Legal PLLC, while actively pursuing a Law Degree. She graduated from HML in the Class of 2017. She was a member of the Varsity Girls Volleyball team, Soccer Team, National Honor Society, and Model UN.

Maryann is Chief of Staff for the Office of the Provost, and a part-time lecturer in the Department of Writing Studies, at the University of Miami.  She has a BA, MFA, and PhD from UM.  She began her career at HML, teaching language arts and serving as the yearbook advisor, and is a second-generation HML alum, inducted into the HML Hall of Fame in 1998.  As a student, Maryann was in the top 1% of her class, a Silver Knight nominee, an active member of Thespian troupe 2501, an editor for both the yearbook and the newspaper, and an anchor for WHML news.

Iliana is a veteran educator and respected leader within the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High community, bringing more than 25 years of teaching experience in Physical Science. Her enduring commitment to the school is deeply personal; she is a proud alumna of HML, having graduated in the top 5% of the distinguished Class of 1995.

Iliana's leadership roles reflect her dedication to the broader school environment. She has served as the Activities Director, organizing and enriching student life, and as a Night School Facilitator. Furthermore, she is an active voice for her colleagues as a United Teachers of Dade (UTD) Steward. Iliana completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies at Florida International University (FIU).
